Hi Eric!
Thank you for “Fake Carrier” but I have a problem with this App.
After the change of the real Carrier Name it is not possible to go back to the original name.
And you have no chance to see if you are in a roaming Net because the Fake Name will be the only name that is showed.
Deinstallation of Fake Carrier will not fix the problem.
Any Ideas???

I’ve got the same problem as above. I’m also having an issue that I need to take the phone in for. So I unjailbroke the phone, restored it to Apple settings, and it still won’t reset to original carrier. Anyway to fix this so I don’t get shot down at the genius bar?
PS this is a 3g running 3.0.1

This is one of the apps I was looking for on my 1 Gen iPod Touch. I always wanted to know how much battery power I actually had left. Plus what I had on another app, so I deleted that one and kept this one.
No improvements neccesary

Hit reset on the screen to set your carrier name. Hit the home button (quit the application), and it will change. It won’t change immediately after you hit reset, you must quit the app.

Yeah…to reset yourcarrier or anything else back to stock look, just hit reset in the menu where you change the names of things, and make sure the text field is blank where you would type in the different time or carrier text, then quit the app. I’ve never had an issue with this app & I change my carrier name/time name about once a week, even works with emoji icons along with text!

I have the same problem it will not reset to original carrier.
Seems this app is far from finished, should not be available unless it works correctly.

I was wrong it does work, I humbly apoligze for my last message. All you need do is hit reset but do not hit set afterwards.

The fake carrier works but I am not able to get the battery level to work at all. I have reinstalled it, removed and reinstalled, repaired it, and nothing works. Please advise, as this is an awesome app when it works. It worked on my previous phone.

Guys, if u have some problems with this app – like the carrier name cannot be turned back to original then do this -
Uninstall this app, and again install it!
